The word KALIS comes from the Indonesian language, meaning clean without residue. This reflects the purpose behind the creation of KALIS, to promote a clean way of living that leaves no harmful pollutants behind. KALIS also stands for Katalisator Lingkungan Sehat (Catalyst for a Healthy Environment), expressing our hope that wider use of KALIS will contribute to a healthier environment.

Our innovation to prevent our rivers from being polluted by synthetic industrial chemicals is KALIS, a natural soap made from fermented fruit peels known as eco-enzymes, combined with plants grown organically in our own community gardens.
